Getting started with Pilates

Pricing for Pilates

Initial Consultation: $99. This is a requirement before commencing sessions. (If you have been attending another Pilates studio, please call to discuss as it may be possible to undertake a mini consultation, depending on the complexity of your personal situation.)

Private sessions: $132 for one hour.

Duet sessions: $66 per person per hour. These sessions are for two clients and are usually organized by the clients so they can attend with someone they know. For duets, you will need to find a partner. You don’t need to find the other participants for small group sessions.

Small group sessions: $44 per hour per person. There will be up to 3 clients in a semi-private session.

If sessions are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the full session fee will be charged.

Regardless of the type of session chosen, all clients at all times work through a program specifically designed for them based on their individual needs, posture, injuries and conditions.

Enar Therapy

ENAR locates, measures and treats problem areas in the body.

  • Are you in pain?
  • Are your joints swollen/inflamed?
  • Is your mood low?
  • Do you have aching muscles?
  • Do you have a niggling injury that just won’t clear?
  • Are you taking pain killers on a regular basis?

The ENAR or Electro-Neuro-Adaptive-Regulator delivers natural, non-invasive, non-toxic, computer-modulated, interactive nerve innervation electrostimulation onto and through the skin. ENAR is a bit like electro-acupuncture but without the needles, to help very quickly relieve pain and restore function.

ENAR may have a profound effect on both chronic and acute painful conditions and injuries that may not respond to other forms of treatment. The ENAR is also used to locate hidden, referred and primary treatment points in ways that might not be evident by other means.

ENAR Therapy will often show significant results from the first treatment. A Macquarie University randomised control trial using ENAR versus conventional TENS has been conducted in Sydney and this showed “significant and sustained results” for chronic pain relief, related disability reduction and functional improvements. (A copy of the full research report is available on request.)

“I have suffered for many years with chronic neck and back pain after a car accident 8 years ago which was exacerbated by two skiing injuries. Conventional treatment, whilst successfully diagnosing the cause of my pain, was only able to provide temporary relief through anti-inflammatory medication and pain killers. Since I was introduced to the ENAR device, my life has totally changed. The swelling and pain in my neck and back have reduced significantly and I can’t remember the last time I took pain killers. I don’t have to limit my movements or activities and I am back to being happy and easy going and life is again full of wonder and enjoyment!”
